Description
Turn reports into action.
3-Hour Workshop | $75 per person | Perth | Take-Home Resources | Certificate of Attendance
The report arrived. Now what?
Psychology, paediatric and allied health reports can contain a huge amount of information: scores, percentiles, assessment names, clinical language and recommendations that don’t always translate neatly into a classroom.
This workshop is designed to make those reports less intimidating and much more useful.
Understand what the results are telling you
We’ll unpack common assessment tools and the kinds of information you may see in reports, helping you understand what different results can tell you about a student’s learning and support needs.
The focus isn’t on turning educators into psychologists. It’s on helping school staff read reports with enough confidence to identify the information that matters for educational planning.
From recommendation to classroom support
A recommendation is only useful if the people supporting the student know what it might look like in practice.
We’ll connect assessment findings with evidence-informed supports and accommodations that can be used within the school setting. You’ll also receive a practical guide you can refer back to when future reports land on your desk.
Who is it for?
Teachers, Learning Support, Student Services, Wellbeing Staff, Case Managers, school staff who regularly receive or work from assessment reports, and Parents or Carers wanting help making sense of a report they’ve received.
Are you a teacher?
This workshop is mapped to relevant focus areas of the Professional Standards for Teachers in Western Australia and may contribute towards your professional learning requirements.
